I am sophomore at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television in L.A., where I am learning all aspects of filmmaking — editing, shooting, acting, and creating sets. I bring enthusiasm and dedication to my work, and embrace opportunities to advance and diversify my experience.
I work many weekends as a production assistant on student sets, as well as performing various jobs such as first and second assistant camera, grip, unit production manager, set photographer, and second assistant director. I film sports matches as a camera operator for LMU’s athletics broadcasting department. The job emphasizes collaboration with the teams and my peers to get full coverage of the events.
At Washington-Liberty High School in Arlington, Va., I focused on film and TV production as well. For two years, I was enrolled in the TV Production program at the Arlington Career Center. I wrote news and sports scripts, produced radio segments, and filmed two public service announcements with Arlington Educational Television. I was a floor manager for the school's broadcasting competitions. I won several top awards from SkillsUSA for film-TV production.
